日本分子科学研究所江东林教授、佐治亚大学潘正伟教授来我校作“21世纪学科前沿”学术报告

  350vip8888新葡的京集团校111“微纳光电材料与器件创新引智计划基地”依托350vip8888新葡的京集团和校微纳米中心积极开展科研合作和国际学术交流,应董宇平教授的邀请,5月11日日本分子科学研究所江东林教授访问了350vip8888新葡的京集团,并受邀做了Two-Dimensional Polymers and Frameworks: Design, Synthesis and Applications的学术报告。该报告是“21世纪学科前沿”系列学术讲座之一。

  二维π-电子高分子材料是新兴的一类微纳米材料,因其具有可控多孔纳米结构,且具有规整的分子堆积方式而表现出一些独特的物理化学性质,正成为新一代的多功能材料,在太阳能电池、气体储存、化合物分离、高效催化等领域中具有重要应用,并且对发展高分子合成化学方法论具有重要意义。江东林教授课题组多年来一直致力于合成结构可控、二维或三维排列高度有序的有机分子骨架材料。江教授的报告主要介绍了两方面的内容,一是如何设计并制备二维有序的高分子多孔材料;二是这些二维多孔有序结构的材料优越性质以及其潜在的应用前景。江教授的精彩演讲赢得了在座师生的热烈掌声,大家争相提问,现场气氛热烈,讲座圆满结束。

  

  

  

  报告由董宇平教授主持,我校350vip8888新葡的京集团曹传宝教授、张学同教授、佟斌副教授、钟海政博士以及来自350vip8888新葡的京集团、理学院的青年教师和同学参加了学术报告,并就各自关心的学术问题与江教授进行了热烈讨论。

  江东林教授简介: Donglin Jiang obtained a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from The University of Tokyo in 1998. He then became an academic carrier as assistant professor at The University of Tokyo and had been involved until 2000 in the development of functional polymers based on dendritic architecture. In 2000, he was appointed as a group leader of the JST ERATO Aida Nanospace project. In 2005, he moved to Institute for Molecular Science, National Institutes of Natural Sciences as a professor. His current research interests include (1) two-dimensional polymers and organic frameworks and (2) conjugated microporous polymers. In 2005 and 2009, he was selected as a researcher of the JST PRESTO projects on “Structure Control and Function” and “Photoenergy conversion systems and materials for the next generation solar cells”. He received SPSJ Wiley Award 2006. He received The Young Scientists' Prize 2006, The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan.

  应邹炳锁教授的邀请,5月13日佐治亚大学的潘正伟教授访问了350vip8888新葡的京集团,并受邀做“Controlled Growth of One-Dimensional Nanostructures— The Art of Nanoscience”的学术报告。该报告是“21世纪学科前沿”系列学术讲座之一。 首先潘正伟博士饶有兴趣地展示了科学与艺术的结合之美,潘教授使用电子显微镜研究纳米材料的同时捕捉了很多纳米尺度的艺术之美,并将这些艺术之美以画的形式展示出来,可称为纳米艺术家,这些作品曾在美国多家画廊展出,并得到C&EN's News等媒体的长篇报道。随后,潘博士介绍了他在ZnO纳米结构的开创性研究以及其对该领域进一步发展的体会和认识。最后介绍了他所领导的小组在碳纳米管复合纤维材料以及新型稀土掺杂发光材料等方面的最新研究进展。潘教授的报告长达75分钟,报告内容丰富多彩,让聆听报告的师生感受到科学与艺术之美。

  潘正伟教授简介:Dr. Zhengwei Pan received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Materials Science from Shandong University of Technology (山东工业大学铸造专业) in 1990 and 1993 (师从王执福教授), respectively, and his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Northwestern Polytechnic University (西北工业大学铸造专业, 师从张立同教授) in 1997. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Physics (师从解思深教授), Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1997.2 to 1999.3, a Senior Research Associate at the City University of Hong Kong in 1999.3-2000.1, and a Research Associate at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2000.1-2002.2. He joined the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2002.2, first as a Research Associate, then as a Staff Scientist at the Chemical Science Division and the Center for Nanophase Materials Science. He joined the University of Georgia in 2006.11 as an Assistant Professor with a joint appointment between the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He was promoted to Associate Professor in December, 2010. Dr. Pan’s research interests focus on the synthesis, characterization, property measurements and applications of functional nanomaterials with an emphasis on one-dimensional nanomaterials. He has authored and co-authored about 90 peerreviewed papers and 4 patent applications. He received the 1st Place Award in Natural Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001 (3rd author), 2nd Place Award in Natural Science of China in 2002 (3rd author), and U.S. NSF Early Career Award in 2010.
